Our Visionary and leader Rev. Dr. Temple Hayes conceived the Idea of The Institute several years ago. Her vision was to spread positive and spiritual principles, healthy living, and joyful living in a technological online format that would be accessible to any person across the globe.
Rev Dr. Temple Hayes is the founder and president of the Institute for Leadership and lifelong learning International. She is a difference maker, spiritual leader, author and international motivational speaker. As an ordained Center for Spiritual Living Minister and an ordained Unity Minister, she currently serves as CEO of First Unity Spiritual Campus, a New Thought center, in St. Petersburg, Florida that transcends religious denominations, embraces all ethnicity, and reaches beyond national borders.
Temple is currently serving on the leadership team of the Association of Global New Thought. She is a successful radio host on Unity FM with her show, “The Intentional Spirit” – Seeing and Being and reaches people throughout the world. She is the author of “The Right to Be You” and “How To Speak Unity”, by Devorss Publishing. Her latest book, “When Did You Die: 8 Steps to Stop Dying Every Day and Start Waking Up” is an Amazon bestseller.
Temple is also the founder of Global Peace Workers – a 501(c)3 which focuses on Peace Through People Initiative. GPW brings relief through products, services, and education which provide assistance to help Humanity transcend to a greater sense of empowerment and positive change. Additionally, Temple also founded Life Rights – a 501(c)3 dedicated to education, teaching and supporting the awareness of valuing life in all living things creating a world longing for peace.
Because of Temple’s dedication to Life Rights, she has been awarded with the People of Distinction Humanitarian Awards in September, 2016. She was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters.
Dr. Ellen “Aileen” Curtin serves as the Dean of Education for the Institute. She is a native of Ireland and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a diploma in Religious Instruction from Mary Immaculate College of Education, Limerick Ireland, a Master’s Degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan University, and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership form the University of North Texas.
She taught K-7th grade for sixteen years in Ireland, Kansas, and Texas. She served as a professor at Texas Wesleyan University from 2000-2018. During her tenure at Wesleyan she taught undergraduate and graduate students in the school of education, served as the founding director of the Doctorate in Education (Ed.D) degree program and chaired doctoral dissertations.
During her tenure as a faculty member at Texas Wesleyan she published and presented locally, nationally, and internationally. She is a textbook author and expert in the field of second language education and Gaelic Language teaching in United States and Canada, and an exhibited artist. She is the recipient of several awards including Teacher of the Year in 1997, and Earl Brown Distinguished Faculty Award (2013).
Dr. Curtin is a certified Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), a Life Coach, Reiki Master, Artist, and Ordained Minister.
Dr. Carolyn A Lane serves as the Director of Administrations for the Institute. She is a retired educator with 30+ years of experience in the Chicago area. She received a Doctorate from Columbia University in Organizational Leadership, a Masters and Educational Specialist degrees from University of Arizona, Tucson in Special Education and Administration.
In her tenure, Dr. Lane served as Assistant Superintendent, Elementary Principal, Director of Special Education and Teacher of students with learning disabilities. Her work with The Institute represents a continuation of her personal pursuit of life-long learning.
Deirdre Hade is a modern day mystic, poet and visionary leader in the ancient arts of the wisdom traditions. Creator of “The Radiance Journey ” a path to mystical knowledge – Uniting the magical with the material – Soul purpose and mystery with everyday life.
A pioneer in the art of spiritual dance, Deirdre first applied her gifts as a ballet dancer choreographer. She danced with the NYC Opera, choreographed for the Banff Center of Performing Arts, Opera Memphis and Southern Opera Theater. As director of the Memphis Ballet Company, she created the first inner city ballet program teaching to disadvantaged youth, choreographing for their performances, sewing costumes, awarding scholarships to the talented for study with the Memphis Ballet Academy. Deirdre choreographed and performed in Stephen Halpern’s, Summer Wind, the inaugurating video of the VH1 channel.
In 2004 Deirdre founded Radiance Healing and Radiance Meditation as a form of energy healing mystical wisdom based on the Kabbalah’s Tree of Life. Today called, The Radiance Journey. Deirdre has given Radiance Journey healings and retreats to thousands throughout the country from The Omega Institute, The ACADEMI of Life in New York City, The Evolutionary Healing Institute in Miami, Florida to Sacred Space in Santa Barbara. Deirdre’s book, The (not so) Little Book of Surprises, released in 2016, was performed to a standing room only audience at Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Center.
A member of Jack Canfield’s Transformational Leadership Council, an organization of 150 worldwide in the field of personal transformation that includes John Grey and Marianne Williamson. A keeper of the World Peace Flame. A founding member of the Association for Transformational Leaders of Southern California. Was featured as a Love Luminary in “Love for No Reason”, by Marci Shimoff. Deirdre was named a Light Luminary, alongside Neil Donaldson Walsh and Don Miguel Ruiz Keidi Keating’s book, The Light. Her wisdom on prayer in “How To Pray,” by Celeste Yacoboni’s. Along with Jean Houston, Deirdre has been honored by Dr. Iziz Fuqua with the F.L.O.W.E.R. award for her pioneering work in energy healing. In 2014, Deirdre was knighted by the Sovereign Order of the Knights Hospitallers of St. John of Jerusalem for her humanitarian work. She received the AWREY award alongside the mayor of Santa Barbara, for her leadership as a spiritual entrepreneur. Deirdre’s Radiance Pure Energy Program has been sold in over 132 countries.
As founder of, The Foundation for Radiance, non-profit, Deirdre has worked with the Women’s Prison Association of New York and Nuveo Amanecer (Sister Trinidad Lopez’s program for women from abuse and sexual slavery in East Los Angeles). She designed, My Angel Pillow, with Kellee White to bring the healing comfort angels to children in hospitals. One of Deirdre’s greatest honors was meeting President Barak Obama,
In 2014 Deirdre married her great love, Will Arntz, Creator of, “What the BLEEP Do We Know!?” and with what she considers her two greatest accomplishments, that of being the mother of her two children Leilah Katherine Franklin and Eric Harel Franklin, they all live happily ever after…
Deirdre and Will just completed their first project together, The (not so) Little Book of Surprises.
She is currently writing her memoir about living as a modern day mystic.

Dr. Brian Caswell, DOM is an acupuncturist in Saint Petersburg, FL who has been practicing for 5 years. A graduate from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts, he transforms lives through nutrition, acupuncture, herbal and nutraceutical medicine and lifestyle coaching. Named “Best Acupuncturist” in Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay Awards for 2016, 2017 & 2019 he blends Eastern medicine and philosophy with Western science. Guided by the concept of the “three treasures,” Dr. Caswell recognizes that in order to achieve optimal health for every individual, the body, mind and spirit must find unity.
Claudia Milner, M.A.Ed. is a licensed spiritual practitioner (RScP) through Centers for Spiritual Living and is in service as a prayer partner at Mile Hi Church and CSL Boulder Valley. She has over 25 years’ experience in education: corporate trainer, classroom teacher, and adult education curriculum development. Claudia is trained in the art and science of coaching and has a background in energetic bodywork. She is honored to be a contributing member of ILLLI and knows the unfolding of the program in all facets will contribute to the healing of the planet.
Natasha Pierre holds a certification in BOE self-advocacy, and is a work readiness Trainer. She earned a degree in mass communications at Duquesne University and work incentive planning certifications from Cornell University. Natasha is an advocate for Mental Health and her goal is to end the stigma and open up the dialogue and conversation surrounding issues that affect so many people. Natasha’s passion for mental health has led her to be an advocate for people living with various mental illnesses, and has allowed her to coach and to support combat veterans – the BRAVEST among us.
Rebekah J. Mooney currently serves as Vice President on the Board of Trustees, Volunteer Coordinator and singer with Unity Voices at First Unity Spiritual Campus in St. Petersburg Florida. Rebekah holds certifications as a Guided Meditation Teacher, Reiki Master, Numerologist, Holistic Health and Transformational Life Purpose Coach, plus Smoking Cessation Specialist. Rebekah considers herself as a Spiritual Ambassador of Love, Light, Peace, & Joy. She teaches that optimum health and wellbeing are a blended combination of Spirit, Soul and Body. All the parts of the greater whole require cultivation of positive tools for transformation into total wellness for a person to thrive and live their purpose.
Garrett O. Crowcroft majored in Theater Tech at Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA). He has pursued his passion as a videographer and photographer for the live entertainment business for six years since graduation. His work experiences includes managing big scale corporate events for Actelion, Roche, and Novartis pharmaceuticals . He worked for Private Travel blogs in Europe in 2018 and now works as the resident videographer for First Unity Spiritual Campus and ILLLI in St. Petersburg, Florida since 2019.
